Hello everyone!
I'm still a beginner at reading, but I'm a complete fan of romances (especially modern ones).
A book that I would love to read one day but which only exists in English is Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid. The story follows Hannah, a 29-year-old young woman who returns to her hometown and must make a crucial choice: to return to live with her ex or not. From there, the book explores two parallel realities, showing how a simple decision can change an entire life.
If you know of a book in this genre, it would be PERFECT!
On the other hand, I'm not a fan of dark romances, it's a style that doesn't touch me or is beyond me. I like love stories (or others) that are wholesome, with a real story behind them.
So far the books I have read and loved are The Way I Used to Be and The Way I Am Now by Amber Smith. I also loved Queen Charlotte from The Bridgertons, and I'm currently reading The Fault in Our Stars (and yes, I'm definitely new to the BookTok universe).
Do you have any recommendations for me?

Unsteady by Peyton Corinne
Very cute, mostly light, he-falls-first, hockey player/ice skater, and some nice spicy scenes. I loved this book, it was a nice break from my usual fair (fantasy).
Check out books by Emily Henry and Beth O’Leary
I’m a mostly-contemporary Romance reader so I have lots of recs haha. (And anti-recs.)
My latest 5-star is Do You Take This Man by Denise Williams. A divorce lawyer who also officiates weddings has a complicated relationship with love and trust. Then into her walks a frustrating wedding planner with trust issues of his own. >!This isn’t the best book but it got a 5-star from me because RJ is an Emotionally Unavailable Woman (common trope) who realizes that is a Her-Problem, not a Him-Problem. Abby Jimenez could never…!<
Love at First Spite by Anna E Collins. Interior designer Dani’s ex cheated on her with the realtor who sold them the house of her dreams. Well, sold *him* the house of her dreams because that asshat didn’t put Dani’s name on the deed. But there’s a small lot next door and Dani knows an architect…
