I like that this book was written entirely in slack chat, and I like that it slowly got more and more surreal
Same with the books People From My Neighbourhood by Hiromi Kawakami, and The Bus on Thursday by Shirley Barrett. All 3 books are quick reads that are a great ride as they slowly dive into 'wtf is going on here' and I'd love something with that vibe

Folks will probably chime in with House of Leaves, I thought The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall had the same weird fourth wall vibe.
Omg my partner read that and loved it so much, they’ve been trying to get me to read it but im just not in a book headspace rn. I thought it sounded a lot like j pod by Douglas Copeland, but will have to read to confirm
