Looking for a book that will keep me on the edge of my seat, like I have no clue what's happening but it works or a plot twist comes along and you go 'why didn't I see that coming!'
I've had this feeling with The Power by Naomi Alderman, We Won't Be Here Tomorrow: And Other Stories by Margaret Killjoy, and Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.
Any suggestions?

Probably Harrow the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir. It’s the second book in a great series, and I also recommend the others.
I just finished The Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins and it was very much like that. A wild but enjoyable ride.
