A Great and Terrible Beauty (trilogy) by Libba Bray ~ A girl sent from India to a London boarding school learns of her ties to witchcraft (the characters in this book series are very flawed, but despite frustrating characters, the story is great!)
Wise Child by Monica Furlong ~ an orphan in rural Scotland is adopted by the town witch named Juniper
Circe by Madeline Miller ~ a retelling of the Circe Greek myth with a modern twist in its social commentary
Those are my favorites!! 🙂

I’ve officially become That One Person Who Recommends Terry Pratchett. That being said, may I recommend *Wyrd Sisters* by Terry Pratchett?

The Ruin of All Witches — It’s non-fiction but reads very story-like and was engrossing for me.

I’ve gotten very into AG Slatter recently. The Briar Book of the Dead brought me out of a reading slump. The bookstore will have another of her books ready to me to get by the end of the week, since i just finished The Crimson Road about 20 minutes ago haha
