Searching for recommendations for my nephew. His mom, my sister, has a severe case of multiple sclerosis and her moods can swing back and forth, she’s lost ability to drive and can only get around with a walker, they’ve been through a lot. She’s been battling for just over a year now and my nephew is old enough to understand why so much has changed but sometimes doesn’t understand that her moods are impacted by MS. I’m hoping to find something that can answer questions or comfort him when she lashes out during her flare ups.
He’s 12 and in 7th grade but reads above his grade level. Still I’d like something at least geared towards children/teens of parents suffering from MS/other chronic illnesses
