hey! so as a background for the type of comedy i like, my favorite comedy movie is after hours, my favorite comedy show is arrested development. i havent read TOO many books but im hoping to read more!
Have you heard of the cult classic film *The Room*?
One of the lead actors (Greg Sestero) wrote a book called *The Disaster Artist* about his long friendship with the filmmaker/star (Tommy Wiseau) and the story of how the film was made.
The book has now been made into a movie as well, but it’s a delightful read – especially if you’re familiar with the subject matter!

Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy – the movie is alright (seen the movie first) but the book is one of my favorites of all time. Hilarious and absurd sci fi. Its comedy style is more like monty python and the holy grail, Shaun of the dead ect. Deadpan sarcastic delivery. If you dont like it right away you can drop it (and i mean right away, it waste no time)
Guards! Guards! – Basically that but medieval fantasy, absurd and wacky. Its part of a 41 book series but has 8 sub series that can all be read seperate that each have like 7 books. Terry Pratchett is one of my favorite fantasy writers and author in general, im in love with his writing style
