Hey yall! I'm looking for autobiography suggestions written by those who experienced foster care/relative/non relative placement as a juvenile. I'm open to those that were adopted and those that were reunified with their parent.
My current work experience gives me glimpses into juveniles lives that are touched by "the system" but I would like to have a more secular view from an adult perspective as they reflect on their own life experience.
What I'm not looking for is a strict retelling of the author's trauma. I am looking for an overall experience of trauma, removal, permanency (adoption/reunification), and adult reflection.
