I saw questions simillar to this one being tossed around this subreddit, but some of them are dated so I wanted to ask it again to get updated opinions.
What books would you recommend in the self-help/mindset changing field?
I'm interested in reading books written by smart and successful people talking about their experience in running a small bussines, problems they encountered and how they dealt with them, problems they didn't expect to come across but did, and how they adjusted to fix them. I would love to read about everyday social interactions of these people, things they are focused on and things that don't bother them. It doesn't have to be focused on running a bussines, it can be about how they position themselves in different types of conversations, how they talk to corporate and casual people while being consistent and truthful to themselves and their values, how to lead a conversation without being rude or needlessly dominant. I have been told that I'm a good listener, but now I want to improve in the speaking part of social interactions and broaden my viewpoints in area of running a bussiness.
I don't have a problem with making friends or keeping them nor am I sad and wanting change, but I think this "entrepreneur" mindset, investing, jugling multiple big ideas, thoughts and problems at once in your head while not letting it affect your everyday life is set of skills I still have to aquire and reading about other people who were once in my shoes and about their struggles and how they overcame them would give me much needed insight for my future.
So, to summarize – self-help, entrepreneurship, confidence, storytelling and speaking to people of different background in groups and individualy.
