Unfortunately most fantasy series are not for me, the sword and sorcery side of fantasy anyway.
I tried giving LOTR and Mistborn a chance but it's just not for me.
I also tried the Harry Dresden series but nah.
I like stuff that's on the darker side, with morally grey/twisted characters, where good doesn't always win, lots of witchcraft, mythology, like Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches or SK's Dark Tower series.
I'm also into urban/paranormal fantasy, loved
The Magicians and the Practical Magic series.
I'm looking for preferably a longer series to keep me absorbed for days/weeks but standalones are good too.
Any good recs?
