What are some good books that explore pre-teen girl issues in a healthy way:
Friendship, girl status competitiveness, feminism, makeup, beauty standards, body positivity, etc.
These could be books that would be read together, could even be non-fiction but I'm thinking probably novels or graphic novels.

Dork Diaries! They’re novels but there are illustrations as well.
The Lumberjanes comics are great for all of these things you listed. It’s about lots of different kinds of girls at a summer camp having silly magical adventures. It is lots of fun with so much heart. I would have loved these if they had existed when I was a kid. I got the first 2 volumes for my niece when she was about that age (give or take, I can’t really remember exactly) and she loved them!
The OG – Anne of Green Gables.
A Wrinkle In Time was very formative for me
Shannon Hale’s graphic novel memoir trilogy Real Friends, Best Friends and Friends Forever.
