I'm fully obsessed with these two books and I love the way Becky Chambers writes. The Wayfarer series is already on my TBR but I was hoping for other recommendations as well to explore other authors as I just got into reading as a hobby fairly recently.

A lot of people classify Becky Chambers’ books as “cozy fantasy.” You could try searching for other books with that tag. One author that comes to mind is Travis Baldree. I really enjoyed his book, *Legends and Lattes.*

The closest thing to Becky Chambers is Becky Chambers, so Wayfarers is a good step. They’re all mostly standalone, but I’d definitely recommend 1 first to get a sense of the universe. If you’re after cozy vibes I would recommend jumping to 4 after 1, I think it only makes references to 1 and it’s the coziest in the series IMO. 1 -> 4 -> 3 -> 2 is probably my favourite reading order on rereads now.

Legends and Lattes was ok for me, it’s worth a try because I think it does hit a similar vibe.

TJ Klune has similar vibes but sometimes his storylines are a little more involved/dark.

Pretty short but “Cybernetic Tea Shop” by Meredith Katz reminded me of all the aforementioned stories too.

It’s not science fiction/fantasy but translated Japanese cozies seem to be gaining popularity. “What You Are Looking for is in the Library” by Michiko Aoyama is a good starting point.
