Hi! I'm looking for some LGBTQ+ book recommendations, preferably with young adult/adult characters in like a scifi or fantasy setting? I've just finished reading All That's Left in the World and am currently reading The Darkness Outside Us and I love them both, so any LGBTQ+ romance stories like that would be perfect! Thank you!!

Daughter of Mystery by Heather Rose Jones. Historical Fantasy. The protagonists are teens at the start and the book occurs over two years. The next book, The Mystic Marriage, one protagonist is a young adult and the other is older. The third book has two middle aged women and the fourth book is two different teens.
The Elemental Logic series by Laurie Marks. Second World Fantasy. Several different QUILTBAG pairings of various ages.
The Last Binding trilogy by Freya Marske. Historical Fantasy. The first and third books are m/m adults. The second book is f/f adults.
Light from Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki. Contemporary SF/Fantasy (there are aliens who run a donut shop and a pact with the devil) The main pairing is f/f and one of the main characters (not one of the pair) is a trans girl.
The Wayward Children series by Seanan McGuire. A mix of portal fantasy (every even numbered book) and contemporary fantasy (every odd numbered book as the children who return from their portal worlds deal with our world). Several QUILTBAG characters of various ages.
Ethan of Athos by Lois McMaster Bujold. Science Fiction. Ethan is an obstetrician from a planet of all men who leaves his planet to mix in with the wider galaxy looking to buy ovarian cultures for his planet’s uterine replicators.
Catfishing on Catnet and Chaos on Catnet by Naomi Kritzer. Near Future Science Fiction. A sentient computer program helps teens deal with problems–one of which is an abusive father.
The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers has a f/f relationship set on a spaceship.
Actually all her books have queer rep but not necessarily romances.
The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin has a polyamorous trio M/M/F.
Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree has a f/f relationship in a cozy fantasy. Pretty sure that the prequel Bookshops and Bonedust does too.
LGBTQ+ sci fi is one of my favourite kinds of sci fi!
* The Bel Dame Apocrypha series by Kameron Hurley, sci fi fantasy
* I second the recommendation of The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet. Everything Becky Chambers has written is delightful.
* Provenance by Ann Leckie
* Trouble and Her Friends by Melissa Scott
* The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir. Space fantasy, very much love-it-or-hate-it
* Blackfish City by Sam J. Miller
* The City in the Middle of the Night by Charlie Jane Anders
* Redsight by Meredith Mooring
* Autonomous by Annalee Newitz
* Leech by Hiron Ennes. No romance, though it’s one of my favourites.
* Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield. Not sci fi. Maybe it’s magical realism?
* We Are Satellites by Sarah Pinsker
* A Country of Ghosts by Margaret Killjoy, We Won’t Be Here Tomorrow and Other Stories by Margaret Killjoy
* The Mimicking of Known Successes by Malka Older. Cozy mystery romance
