Hello! I'm new here, and I can see that a lot of y'all are well-versed with classic novels. I got into reading because of those popular YA novels on tiktok, but I've lost interest in them and want to explore other genres. I've already read a few like The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Importance of Being Earnest, and am currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray. I've thoroughly enjoyed them all, which is why I want to start with the classics.
But, honestly, I'm fine with any book in any genre that is known as a classic example of that genre by popular opinion. (I'm happy to be recommended any level of difficulty, but please mention it. Baby-me disliked books ever since my dad made me read David Copperfield at seven years old. I'm not too keen on a repeat performance of that lol.)
Thank u 🙂
