WAY WAY to much smut on ku disguised as "unique" storytelling that is much to popular. I'd prefer something on ku to get into more fantasy books (only really read Harry potter, Inheritance cycle, hobbit, and lotr). I don't mind romance or have a preference for gender, but I'd prefer something not based on earth.
