If you can find it, Rage, by Stephen King, or Richard Bachman

I’m reading live ship Traders right now and there is one character who is a covert neurotic psychopath, who just… accidentally keeps getting people to like him more and more. His story arc is mostly funny, but sometimes absolutely shocking in how lacking in humanity he is.
There’s another main character who’s an absolute psychopathic narcissist, who you’ll just hate.
