With Mother's Day coming up at the end of the month (UK) my Mum has always been an avid reader, I wanted to get her something she may enjoy that she's not read/heard of before.
She loves a good psychological thriller or murder mystery. She was a big fan of James Herbert and read and enjoyed Stieg Larsson and Jo Nesbø. Recently I recall her saying she enjoyed the Richard Osman series.
Is there anything that could be recommended as a good series to maybe get her the initial few books? She has read a lot of things, I don't remember them all, but there are a few authors I've mentioned that she spoke of fondly.
I will admit I'm not much of a bookworm personally, so I will appreciate any help!
