My internal monologue(core mind) has always been negative and self sabotaging. I’m 26years male.

I understand from psychology that the past from childhood shapes us to how we become in life. I’m working actively on myself-learning from Andrew huberman, Naval Ravikant and Alan Watts. Atomic Habits has been a true eye opener in my habits.

Previously I never could face my fears or difficult tasks. I would just avoid and by pass them. Now that I understand more about neuroscience I’m actively doing hard things and dealing with my fears / difficult tasks. But in my head I’m kinda negative.

Please recommend me books which can help me see things in a positive way. I need to solve this issue at the core level and not some superficial bandaid advice books.

If the book is easy to read then that would be great!

    1. I believe most others would agree that no book will aid in that endeavor. The change, itself, must come from within and the only real way to do that is begin small and work one’s way up. It could be a serotonin imbalance in which case a mild enhancer from a doctor will help but the rest has to come from taking the baby steps and understanding the ‘why’ of the negativity.
