I'm hoping someone can help me. My goddaughter has recently really enjoyed reading and she's loving Jacqueline Wilson The Butterfly Club. I really love thats she's found this interest and I want to encourage her by reading more and picking up some good recommendations for her.
I'm pulling out some of my age appropriate favourites from the Wilson era, but I wondered if anyone had any recommendations of other authors?
I loved Enid Blyton myself and the malory tower series when I was younger but I'm trying to gauge if that's age appropriate. I'm in my late twenties now myself with no kids and struggling to judge. Thank you so much.

So these are some that my step daughter and niece have enjoyed.
Unicorn Academy. Warrior Cats. These are chapter books. And they are long series. Especially Warrior cats.
DogMan. InvestiGator. Animal Rescue Friends. These are more like comic book style.
