Hi guys,
Firstly a bit of background: I am a late twenties male – who is just about to complete his 10th and hopefully final year of university. I love learning and see myself as a lifelong learner. I recently went on a once in a lifetime trip around the world as part of my uni course (SE Asia, Pacific) – I think this has maybe peaked my interest in learning more about other culture.
I am into history, politics, science, travel and even starting to enjoy learning more about the humanities. For the last year or so I have read a lot of medical non-fiction classics "Being Mortal", "When Breath Becomes Air" these are often written as autobiographical accounts. I find learning through different author's experiences fascinating.
I am about to start my first full time job this summer but I see reading as an avenue to continue to learn more about the world.
So I was wondering if any of you avid readers had any recommendations? I am thinking of books that maybe changed your understanding of the world or gave you a new insight into some of the big topics I have mentioned above!
Thank you in advance.
