I'm in the mood to dive into a long Sci-Fi/Fantasy series for binge reading. The problem is, I have read most of them already, I truly hope I'm wrong in that assessment.
The series should have more than 3 books and be mostly finished, unless there are something like 10+ books I can look forward to.
I'm looking for books similar to: (not ranked)
- Wheel of Time – Robert Jordan
- A Song of Ice and Fire – GRRMartin
- The Stormlight Archive – Brandon Sanderson
- The Expanse – James SA Correy
- Dune – Frank Herbert
- Earthsea – Ursula k Le Guin
- Night's Dawn/Commonwealth Saga – Peter F Hamilton
- Dresden Files – Jim Butcher
- Lost Fleet – Jack Campbell
- Farseer – Robin Hobb
- Honor Harrington – David Weber
- Malazan Book of the Fallen – Steven Erikson
- The Sun Eater – Christopher Ruocchio
- Witcher – Andrzej Sapkowski
I'm not looking for:
- Franchise series: Star Wars, WH40k, D&D, etc
- Terry Pratchett
- Young Adult genre
- Manga/Graphic Novels
- Overly Smutty books
- Classics: Asimov, Tolkien, Orson Scott Card, Dick, Lovecraft, etc
Popular books I couldn't get into:
- Three-Body Problem
- First Law Trilogy
- The Magicians
- The Dragonbone Chair
And I deeply despise
- Sword of Truth.
I wouldn't mind some suggestions of female or non-western authors.
