I'm looking for books that are about the indominable human spirit and survival against all odds. Something akin to "127 hours" or the movie "the grey". Whether it's being stranded at sea or being lost in an ice cold wasteland doesn't matter. Thank you!

Shackleton’s Heroes by Wilson McOrist is a history book about the support team who landed on the other side of Antarctica to lay supplies in anticipation of Shackleton making it across and needing food on the way out. He called them the bravest men he’s ever known.
