Looking for a collection of short stories for a parent with brain cancer

Hi! I’m looking for a book suggestion to get for my mom. She’s in her 60s and was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer (Glioblastoma). Growing up, she harnessed my love for reading, gifting me with her entire Nancy Drew collection and reading to me every night for as long as I can remember.

I don’t think she can remember intricate plots or long books, so I’m wondering if anyone knows of a good collection of short stories in a book that may work? I remember she used to love mysteries, Stephen King novels and fairytales (maybe just for my benefit but I remember her reading them). She also loves Disney.
