I’m looking for a book that was written from like 1950-2003. It’s basically the plot of the Lorax except it’s only about animals and people from what i remember. The animals are living in harmony in nature and then the humans slowly start to show up and destroy the environment. Eventually the nature is completely destroyed but the humans leave and they’re able to rebuild their environment. I think I read this in kindergarten in 2003. Anyone have any ideas?
