Hello everyone, I'm looking for one or two books that could help me with my overthinking.
I saw a lot of similar questions but mostly from anxious people and I'm not overly anxious or seriously socially impaired.
I do however overthink relationships and my own actions / standing in social settings. Also my everyday life and I sometimes still judge myself for choosing the lacy comfort zone activity over something more out there. Of course pushing oneself is necessary but man, I gotta chill sometimes.
Should also mention: Love myself a book with scientific approaches over mental health gurus and that sort of origin.
I'm grateful for every suggestion!

Overthinking is a word for people that will get into psychological problems if they do. While that word remains a confession on perceived limits to our capabilities. How do you think genius arrives?
Try R. Nieuwenhuyse, his not bothered with the language of the trail?
I can’t help with the very specific subject matter you want but how about just reading some stuff on how our brains work? David Eagleman has written a few books. I read one of more accessible ones recently called (appropriately) The Brain. It is an enjoyable read and it really made me think about how our perception works.
