Like the title said, I'm looking for romance books/ books with romance in it that aren't cringey or cheesy. Don't need smut, don't want a lot of it. I like reading lgtq. I've enjoyed Taylor Jenkins reaid novels, red white and royal blue or six time we almost kissed Thanks 🙂

The books I recommend are
– The boy I love, its about two soldiers falling in love and dealing eith their trauma
– A taste of gold and iron, a Prince and his servant and one of the best enemies to lovers I’ve ever read and still one of my favorite books
– House in the cerulean sea, real good fluffy and comfortable read. Its about an Inspector inspecting a house with children with magical abilities and the literal anti-christ
– Peter Darling, basically a beautifuly written “what if Peter Pan was a trans kid, that needed a place to be himself?”
They aren’t strictly romance but The Binding by Bridget Collins is a gorgeous book with a really beautiful, and I think realistic (to my experience at least) representation of first love. It’s a really heart breaking story.
I also just finished Hungerstone by Kat Dunn, which is a retelling of Carmilla, the vampire story that inspired Bram Stoker to write Dracula. Again, not really romance, but I found it to be erotic in a subtle, gothic way.
Keeping You a Secret by Julie Anne Peters
Cool for the Summer by Dahlia Adler
Leah on the Offbeat by Becky Albertalli
Her Royal Highness (Royals #2) by Rachel Hawkins
The Miseducation of Cameron Post by Emily M. Danforth
