This truly does feel like a bit of attention seeking post, but I've been looking for books- similar in writing or style- literary fiction regardless- based on those which I would consider my favorite of all times. So I thought this subreddit might help!

I would like to further my reading, by maybe finding some books that are less talked about. I'm aware that these books are all very beloved, and have a great fan base, but to me they particularly resonated because of how they captured the human experience, and finding passages so beautiful in them that I had to take a break just to regain myself afterwards. I would also be interested in something with more queer themes, or exploring gender identity, though it's not a necessity by any means. I hope these books are enough to give you a general idea! And if any of you have any recommendations, I'll be glad to look into them! Thank you <3
