Hi everyone,
While we all love the old-fashioned “chosen one” stories most commonly found in fantasy, I’m looking to read something from the perspective of a “chosen one adjacent” character. For lack of a better example, think of the Harry Potter books told through Ron Weasley’s eyes.
I’d love to get insight into their thoughts, how it feels to always be second-best to the hero, and so forth.
It could be from the perspective of a friend, family member, nemesis… I’m open to anything, and love pretty much all genres! Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions.

Here’s a book told from the perspective of the literal “chosen one.”
