I'm looking forward to reading long novels, preferably adventure (non fantasy) but can be of any genre.
I'm looking towards reading books that will keep my hooked till the end and aren't terribly slow paced
I have already read The Count of Monte Cristo and loved it
I haven't read these but came across as recommendations while browsing the web and would love your opinion on these: Anne Karenina, War and Peace, Don Quixote, 1Q84 (although have heard it's slow paced), The Brothers Karamazov
Also would love to hear about any other great books that you would definitely suggest fit my criteria and are worth a read

I think Shogun by James Clavell might be a good one for you
Middlemarch
Lonesome Dove. I’m reading it for the first time right now. It does not disappoint.
I’ve read War and Peace. The beginning was slow, but it picked up towards the end. (I liked the war parts better than the peace parts; some people feel differently.)
Les Miserables is excellent, but it has some slow parts and some digressions that will make you scratch your head. But it’s worth it in the end.
Neal Stephenson writes some great long novels. They’re technically sci-fi, but not of the fantasy type. In some cases they look more like historical fiction or even thrillers.
Stephen King’s **11/22/63** is about a man who goes back in time in an attempt to prevent the assassination of JFK.
Gone with the wind 😍😍😍
Ken Follett – The Century Trilogy! Should be 3 books with each about 1000 pages. I was absolutely hooked on the characters and learning more about the history
Okay, Les Mis is slow paced. But it’s incredible! If you like fantasy, maybe try The Farseer Trilogy.
