The last book I fully read was Against The Loveless World by Susan Abulhawa, 6 months ago, which put me in a slump because of how difficult it is to beat. There was just so much substance, and it was raw, captivating, and beautifully written. There are a lot of compelling books out there, but more rare to find on Kindle Unlimited and my Libby wait times are 20 weeks long 🙁
I'd do anything to get back into reading again. I have a bad habit of starting the first few pages of a book I see people rave about, then I get bored and move to the next.
I'm sure there are plenty of good books on KU, but I feel like it's easier for consistent readers to pass through books, while someone like me can't really afford to waste my time on a book that's slow and just okay, if that makes sense.
I'm pretty much open to anything as long as the cover isn't a shirtless man/plot is basically porn. I'm also not the biggest fan of fantasy (unless it's the best thing you've ever read, I might think about it). I JUST MISS THE FEELING OF NOT BEING ABLE TO PUT DOWN A BOOK
