I’m a slow reader folks, so picking my next book is no small thing. Hoping this sub can help me choose rather than my usual approach of slowly spiralling before just picking the highest rated in my Goodreads list.
I just finished Circe — excellent book — and now have the 5 options below which all sound great. Would love to know your top pick and why… or even something NOT on this list but that you think would fit.
- 11/22/63, Steven King
- Piranesi, Susan Clarke
- A Gentleman in Moscow, Amor Towles
- The Master and Margarita, Mikhail Bulgakov
- Unsong, Scott Alexander
Length of the book isn’t an issue cause it’s gonna take a while anyway!
Thanks for your help.

All great choices. The Master and Margarita though is an incredible classic. Read it first twenty years ago and several times since then. A deep onion of a novel and just superb!
