I’ve recently been thinking more about how having some type of creative outlet could enrich my life. I’m looking for a book that can help me understand the personal value that one can get from engaging in some form of creativity and perhaps some general strategies and tactics that can help one get started.
For context, I’ve never been a particularly creative person. I have no musical talent at all, can’t draw or paint, can’t dance, etc. I have dabbled in woodworking in the past, but don’t have the space or equipment to dive into that much right now. I’m mostly interested in exploring writing as an outlet, but open to other things. I have zero goal of turning this into a way to make money or anything like that, I just want to do it for myself. I’m also not interested in books about how creativity can help businesses succeed.
Thank you!
