Which one’s worth reading

I want to start a book but there's a conflict between emotional intelligence and power of subconscious mind . I'm getting a feeling EI one's better . Book lovers please guide this fellow reader.

Just some insight would be good regarding both though I'm not new to reading but self help I've started quite later as I stick to fantasy mostly
