Hey everyone!! I'm looking for books that fall into a somewhat specific category, but I'm not sure how to Google this to find more books like these because previous searches didn't really help me much.
Years ago I read two biographies: one was "into the wild" by Jon Krakauer and the other was "the stranger in the woods" by Michael Finkel.
While they're essentially pretty different, they both have one thing in common: they describe the life/moments of people doing their best to survive out in the wild.
I especially liked the analysis and the way "into the wild" tried to puzzle the case together. And while I guess it's not really a cold case, it was interesting to see how they came to certain conclusions with the little info they could find.
Both books were very interesting reads.
I'm looking for books similar to these. I guess I'd be open to fiction too.
Just looking for books with similar vibes, especially biographies (or autobiographies).
The wilderness/survival aspect is the most important part, the mystery/figuring out what happened comes second.
Thanks in advance to anyone who comments 🙂
