I want something absolutely brain boggling, and confusing. Something that can be interpreted multiple ways and stretches your mind to think about things in ways you haven't before. Maybe even something eye opening
Any genre really, but preferably some sort of crime/mystery novel

The only one I can think of right now that 100% checks all those boxes is Mulholland Drive
The Seven (or Seven and 1/2) Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle!
Without saying too much, let’s just say it’s a time loop murder mystery with an extra twist, and it may make your brain leak out of your ears, and leave it at that. It was a very enjoyable read.
In a completely different direction, you can try Bunny by Mona Awad. It’s *crazypants*. I have no idea what was real and what wasn’t, and apparently neither does Reddit as a whole.
You gotta read Gravity’s Rainbow! Accept no substitute!
Piranesi by Susanna Clarke
* “The Secret History” by Donna Tartt: Atmospheric and morally ambiguous with a slow-burn plot that unravels in unexpected ways. You’ll be questioning everyone’s motives.
* “House of Leaves” by Mark Z. Danielewski: A truly unique and disorienting reading experience with multiple narrative layers and unconventional formatting. Prepare to be confused and intrigued.
* “The Silent Patient” by Alex Michaelides: A psychological thriller with twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end. The ending sparks a lot of debate and reinterpretation.
