Hey! I just finished The Devotion of Suspect X and I can’t stop thinking about it. I loved how it wasn’t a typical murder mystery — like, we already know who the killer is pretty early on, but the tension comes from how everything plays out. It was more about the emotional weight, the characters, and the whole moral dilemma than just solving a case.
The whole vibe — kind of slow-burning, quietly intense, and deeply human — really stuck with me. I’d love to read more books that are either similar in theme or structured in that reverse-mystery kind of way. Anything that feels just as layered and smart, but also tugs at your heart a bit.
Would really appreciate any recommendations!
