Wow. Just finished this book and it moved me (destroyed me, rather) in a way that I haven’t felt in a while. I was full sobbing on the plane.
The last books that made me feel this way was The Goldfinch and the Secret History – I heard there were similarities which is why I picked this up. But this was special in its own right.
I don’t want to start another book because I don’t want to leave the world that Micah built. It was beautiful and suffocating. Paul and Julian will live in my head forever.
