I recently enjoyed Roberto Bolano’s “Telephone Calls”. It’s a collection of short stories.

Earthings by Sayaka Murata (honestly I couldn’t finish it- it was very unsettling)
Convenience store woman also by sayaka murata – this one is less unsettling than earthlings
A lot of Miranda July’s books are wonderfully strange. No one belongs here more than you- is a collection of short stories book I read maybe 13 years ago & still can’t stop thinking about
Seep by Chana Porter. It wasn’t my usual pick- but it was really good.

I Keep My Exoskeletons to Myself. It is a beautiful story of grief, but set in a world where anyone who commits a crime gets a second shadow attached to them. It was so amazing.
