Howdy! My mum-in-law has been rather poorly and I'd love to send her a care package with a bunch of books. She loves, as she puts it, "mindless mysteries", with Agatha Raisin, Hamish Macbeth, and Miss Marple being among her favorites. I believe she also mentioned enjoying "The Cat Who…" series (which tracks, since she is a huge animal lover). She was middling on "The Thursday Murder Club" when I sent that, and no word on "Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for Murderers".
She is from the Midlands and I know she misses home, so any books set there, mystery or not, would be appreciated too. Thank you!
