LF depiction of realistic friendship

Hi there,

I am looking for a fiction book, that shows realistic friendships.

Like how they change / how they start and end / how they feel and develop.

But not in the typical fantasy (or YA) way of us against the world forever.

I don't really care about the genre but would love for romance not to play a big role.
