Please help me find books about AI’s robots etc gaining sentience exploring the world etc.

hello guys as the title says I want a book on AI and robots gaining sentience but I dont mean it like they lead a rebellion and destroy the evil humans I want a book of them exploring the world developing a personality a sense of self.
