I have “The Time Travelers Wife” by Audrey Niffenegger, “The Nickel boys” by Colson Whitehead, “Children of time” by Adrian Tchaikovsky, “The Weight of a Moment” by Michael Bowe, and “The Boys in the Boat” by Daniel James Brown. These were the books I had lying around that I haven’t read yet.

My favorite types of books are books that have deep meaning and commentary regarding life and the human experience in general. Bonus points if it does this through a hypothetical society/ world. One of my favorite books I’ve read is “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley. I also like fictions about historical events that do the same type of thing (use the historical events to show deeper meaning about life/human experience). I was thinking I would read either “The time travelers wife” or “the nickel boys”. Maybe “The weight of a moment”. What do you guys think?

Kinda depends on your mood-if you’re up for a painful story of friendship and violence at a time and place where boys’ school/prisons existed, I’d go Nickel Boys.
If you want a vibey kind of tragic story of two people over time and time-travel, I would go with Time Travelers Wife
