Read this story yesterday from his crime story collection, “Killer come back to me”. Why does the older self hand over that revolver to his younger self? Didn’t understand that part at all. The older self is, throughout the story, a sage like figure, wanting to save his younger self from his mistake and then does this? Didn’t make any sense to me. Someone please explain (I searched the net, but couldn’t find the answer).
