I want to understand the romance genre better – I'd love suggestions of iconic romance novels from all walks of life.
Anything that's a strong example of the genre. I am a newbie to romance novels, but have read widely in fantasy, sci-fi, fiction, and horror. Some of the stories I've read have romance narratives within the greater plot, but I would like to try reading something that prioritises the romance.
I want something different than what I'm used to, I'm game to try anything!
