For years I’ve seen nothing but praise towards Brandon Sanderson and his Stormlight Archive. Many people regard as one of, if not the best works of fantasy ever. But after the release of Wind and Truth I’ve seen more negativity than positivity surrounding this series. People tend to say the series really drags after book 3 and is not really worth it anymore and that Brandon Sanderson is not for them anymore. The books are quite long and become a slog to read. Is this true? I want your honest thoughts on this series whether it’s positive or negative. Is the series worth reading? Is it still one of the best works of fantasy ever made? Or would I better reading something like Malazan or The Wheel of Time?
