Title essentially, I remember reading a lot of these as a teen, however I actually can’t remember any of their names!!! I do like the film – the Da Vinci Code but have never read the book.
**The Templar Legacy** by Steve Berry is similar to *The Da Vinci Code*. It’s more action-oriented than puzzle-oriented, though. It has a former U.S. Justice Department agent investigating a conspiracy involving the Knights Templar and their legendary treasure. [Be aware its prologue contains gruesome horror. It can be skipped with no loss to the story.]
I thought Dan Brown’s *Angels & Demons* was better than his *The Da Vinci Code*.
