How does everyone get other books suggestions? I feel like every time a get a book suggestion it turns out to be a hit or miss
Got fed up wasting money and also time just to never finish a book – Does anyone have a good process of consistently finding good book suggestions and the books actually being what they're looking for 🙂
i go on oceansofpdf, or i’ll go to the book store and read a bit to see if it’s fun, or i’ll look up if there’s a trope i really like in the book. i mostly read romance so i don’t know if the trope thing will work in other subjects

I genuinely do have a good way. I haven’t had a miss for a while. I watch YouTube videos from YouTubers who previously recommended good books and then pick one. Then I go to goodreads and read the one star reviews. If there’s consistently cons I know I hate I won’t read. An example of a con I hate is superfluous language that makes the writing sound juvenile.
