Books with apothecary, poisons or a focus on herbalism

One of my favorite anime is Apothecary Diaries and I rewatch it very frequently, I own the box set of the show and the manga but I'm hoping that someone will have some recommendations for books or series that revolve around the similar topics of apothecary working, herbalism and poisons like that. I want that to be the main focus, not just a side plot or vague concept within the story. I recently read Poison Study and it was okay but it didn't quite match what I was hoping for and the romance in it was really unappealing and clunky so it would be great if there was little to no romance, like The Apothecary Diaries. No dark romance or really intense topics like SA and stuff like that, it's fine if it's mentioned or a brief plot point but I can't handle anything too dark or intense over a long period
