Suggestions for standalones and/or greek mythology

So I want to read a stand alone right now for a change. I am not a real romance fan. I am okay with romance in the book but not when the plot is romance if that makes sense

I am also looking for some Greek mythology books. Theres a lot of retellings but I want to read the original lore but not like a textbook and a greek mythology book I have is 3 pages long for Zeus's section for example. 3 pages wouldnt be enough to explain the family tree let alone with Zeus but I don't want to feel like I am reading an academic journal. I don't want to really read a retelling of Hera, Icarus, Circe, etc without knowing the original story.

Any recommendations both random (not romance) or greek mythology suggestions are appreciated.
