Earlier I used to take one series, read it fully before moving on to the next. However the dread that sets in after a good series ends is too much. And I'm the kind of person who takes long time to choose my next book if it's not from a running series so it makes things even more difficult.
So I've changed my approach by having multiple series running together and reading a book from a the next series after finishing a book from one series. The goal is to have enough series in my list that I can read one book from each series every year and not run out of books to read throughout the year.
Here are the series which I'm currently reading with this approach:
The Lost Olympian by Rick Riordan
Jack Reacher
Hercule Poirot
Thursday murder Club
Nero Wolfe by Rex Stout
William Warwik series by Jeffrey Archer
Some series that I've completed and enjoyed in the past:
Harry Potter
Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
Shiva Trilogy by Amish (highly recommended if you haven't read)
Some series that I did try but didn't enjoy as much
Hawthrone by Anthony
Horowitz (too serious)
Marcus Didius Falco by Lindsey Davis
& Lord Peter Wimsey [found them both hard to understand since english is not my first' language]
So what other series would you recommend I give a try/add to my list?
Thank you iI advance
