Im looking for a new book to read, i love crime fiction and all of its sub-genres, psychological thrillers, classic murder mysteries, you name it… i would prefer something on the gory side maybe with a serial killer or sinister cult. I loved the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trilogy by Stieg Larsen as well as numerous pulp crime novels i bought for two dollars and devoured in one sitting. I would most appreciate something with a good serial killer mystery, which can both engage me in the mystery and actually disturb me.

For gory, pulpy and sinister you can’t go wrong with James Ellroy’s LA Quartet (4 books, the first one is The Black Dahlia). His Underworld USA trilogy is great too
